Snowline is a small family run Christmas tree farm located in the foothills of the Cascades South of Molalla OR. These past couple of years we have been working on some diversification prjects. Our main project has been starting a CSA. We are not certified organic, but we do use natural practices for growing all of our produce. We also try to use heirloom seeds as much as possible although with our altitude and shortened growing season we do have to use hybrid seeds in order to have some types of produce available.

We are currently in our 5th year of offering CSA subscriptions. Our CSA subscribtions differ in that we also include a Christmas tree and a wreath or garland in the final winter basketthat is picked up at the farm from mid November - Christmas. We usually have 20 baskets during the season but for those who sign up early there is usually one or two baskets of greens that re available in the spring. Spring baskets are also picked up at the farm. We open up our farm for hay ride tours and for our CSA families to come spend the day either to put their hands in the dirt and pull some weeds or to just relax and take a walk through the woods or maybe have a picnic lunch by the ponds. We love being able to show children where their food comes from and how it is grown. They can also spend some time gathering eggs/feeding the chickens or giving treats to our other animals. In the fall we have a small pumpkin patch for you to choose a pumpkin to take home. We grow the normal orange pumpkins but also have a variety of different colored, warty or odd shapes pumpkins too.

In the winter we have a traditional U-Cut Christmas Tree Farm that is open from the week before Thanksgiving until Christmas. We have a hay ride, covred area with a fire, refreshments and a craft spot so the kids can make and take home an ornament to hang on their new tree. We also sell fresh greenery that we make daily on the farm from boughs that are harvested from our farm. It's hard to find them any fresher. We are one of the few farms in the area that does custom flocking of trees. Watch as we flock your tree and then have a cup of cocoa by the fire while it dries.
