Soggy Bottom Farm is a small family owned farm located outside of Oakville in the beautiful Garrard Creek valley which is a small tributary of the lower Chehalis River. We are nestled within forested hills and mountains - the entire area has a long and rich history of farming and forestry that continues to this day.
Our grass fed cattle are Scottish Highland which are known for their delicious and high quality meat - many people prefer to not season the meat due to the great natural flavor!
We take great pride in contributing to the resurgence of family owned farms and their contribution to the health and well-being of the people and communities they serve.
Our goal is to provide natural and healthy alternatives to large-scale meat production. Our farm produces naturally raised beef and pork. In the near future we will also provide chicken and duck eggs and meat.
Beef and pork is sold by the quarter, half or whole animal.
Cattle and pigs are typically butchered in late summer/early autumn of each year.
If interested in purchasing meat, orders are taken beginning April 1 with a $100 non refundable deposit - 100% of the deposit is applied to your order.
