South Burlington Farmers Market

The S. Burlington Farmers market is run by Common Roots, a S. Burlington non-profit working to change food systems within the whole district. Focus' fall on bringing farm fresh foods into school cafeterias, doing farm to school food system education within the classrooms, bringing food stability to those in need within the community and much more. Common Roots decided to take on management of the farmers market to further the availability of farm fresh food in the S. Burlington community. Our market has many prepared foods vendors ranging from international cuisines to healthy america comfort foods. Fresh produce from four farmers around the area with a wide variety of different veggies, herbs, eggs and meat. Klinger's Bread Company is our token bread provider as well as our coffee stop. We have specialties products from pickles to jams and jellies. There are options for drinks from ice tea to lemonade to Switchel and a variety of non-profits within the community who bring an educational component to the market; as well as provide opportunities for people to get involved with their larger community. Also present at the market are a number of crafters ranging from rugs to jewelry.

The market is a place for people to come together, listen to music, spend time with friends, do their weekly shopping and support local businesses. Both EBT and Debit Card customers are welcome. We look forward to seeing you there!
