Southeast CRAFT

CRAFT stands for Collaborative Regional Alliance for Farmer Training. We are a coordinated effort to bring established farmers, farm apprentices, and students of agriculture together for a season long series of on-farm trainings in the art and sciences of farming, straight from the hearts, mouths, and fields of seasoned local farmers. CRAFT is farmer-driven and farmer-led. Farms are the classrooms, and the farmers themselves are the teachers. Classes are set up as farm tours that rotate among the member farms each month during the growing season. Tours cover topics from planting to record keeping, from chickens to season extension. Southeast CRAFT is a membership program, and there is a place for everyone. You may join as a farm with your interns, a farm without interns, an aspiring farm or farm apprentice, or an interested friend or non-commercial grower. Join us today!
