The Farmers Market is a totally enclosed structure located in Begg Park, which is a 20-acre park just off Dickman Road (M-96) at Military Avenue in Springfield (near Battle Creek). This Market has 13 overhead doors on each side, along with a large sliding door on the end. The overhead doors make this facility ideal for shoppers to stroll along the perimeter of the Market to browse the wares.
The Springfield Farmers Market is authorized to accept Project Fresh Coupons through the State of Michigan's WIC Program.
Vendors include, but are not limited to items such as locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, plants/flowers, honey/syrup, and crafters just to name a few.
