Standing Stone Farms is a small homestead dairy farm located in Middle Tennessee, specializing in raising and breeding happy, healthy registered Nubian goats with high milk production, that are people friendly and teacking the wonderful skill of cheese making.
The owner and cheese making instructor, Paula Butler is currently the President of the Volunteer State Goat Breeders Association, VSGBA and Vice President for the International Nubian Breeders Association, INBA.
Nubians are quickly becoming the most sought after breed of goats due to their outstanding ability to produce sweet, rich tasting milk. Their milk, contains a higher butterfat content as compared to other goat breeds. This added fat content is great for producing cheese, fudge, ice cream, and butter.
In addition to raising and breeding for sale to other like minded dairy goat herd owners, we are striving to produce "Old World Style" cheeses, goat milk lotions and soap. We offer CHEESE making classes and CHEESE supplies. Our classes include both demonstration and hands on. We also offer cheese making parties and private instruction for both children and adults. Please visit our website for more information.
Upcoming Cheese Making classes: Check out our webpage for our schedule, www.standingstonefarms.com Private Cheese classes available for adults and kids available.

My girlfriend and I took a cheese making class and had a great time. We not only learned to make cheese but enjoyed a wonderful lunch and had a blast playing with the goats. We can't wait to do this again!
