We have been keeping bees since 2003 when we took a beginner beekeeping class offered by the Beaver Valley Area Beekeepers' Association. That year, we started with 2 colonies and since then, our "hobby" has grown to more than 25 hives in our backyard in Aliquippa. We are passionate about beekeeping because it is a fascinating endeavor and because we are concerned about the future of honeybees. We specialize in three seasonal varieties of local honey: a delicate spring honey, a classic amber summer honey and a robust, rich dark fall honey.
