I raise 100% grass-fed beef on 65 acres of prime, river-bottom farmland on the banks of the Merrimack River. My cattle have never tasted soy, corn, corn silage, brewer's grain, or any other kind of concentrated grain. I do not even use grain for handling them. In the spring, summer, and fall I rotate my cattle every day to a new paddock of fresh pasture. In the winter, I feed them dry and wrapped round bales of hay. I do not treat my cattle with hormones or antibiotics. My pastures are certified organic by the State of New Hampshire. This holistic management system is healthy for the animals, for the soil, for the environment, and for society.
