Steves' Market & Deli (Est, 1996 with the outside assistance of the SBA) is a small "locally grown" restaurant located Deep in the Heart of Downtown Brownwood Texas. The Steves (Owners/Operators) deliver to your table diverse Soups, Salads, Sandwiches, Desserts, Fair Trade Coffee and Teas. The use of Locally and Regionally grown produce/products in the Deli has been part of the SM&D philosophy since day one. Brown County Onions, Peppers and Herbs used to create Steves' Spiked Onion Soup have been a favorite of many diners ! The latest diverse product addition to Steves' Market & Deli is Peace Oil (A Joint Project of Israelis & Palestinians) and Peace Coffee from Minneapolis Mn. All Colorful History is local! Our Legendary Club Sandwiches (The Coach Paul Tyson, The Rae Bourbon, The Morris Kight, & The Neva Paris) recognize this often "out of sight" local history.
