The Stewart Clan has been farming in northern Laurens County since the mid 18th century. In the spring of 1993 Jack and Helen Stewart, along with their daughter Angie and her husband Greg, decided to open Stewart Farms to the public with their first strawberry patch. Since then we have grown and added many other "fresh" crops and activities for our customers. Spring at the farm is a great way to celebrate the end of the cold dreary days of winter. Our customers enjoy our u-picked and pre-picked strawberries, premium bedding plants, hanging baskets, ferns, herbs, and 107 varieties of vegetable plants. Summer is one of the most bountiful seasons on the farm. Here at the farm we have our fresh u-pick and pre-pick blackberries, yellow squash, zucchini, okra, tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet and hot peppers, cantaloupes, watermelons, sweet corn, and fresh cut flowers. Fall is maybe the busiest times at Stewart Farms. During late September and October hundreds flock to the farm daily for our u-pick pumpkin patch, sweet potatoes, corn maze, garden mums, and a multitude of other farm grown fall decorations. Winter is a time when we celebrate the christmas season on the farm. We grow the finest poinsettias for retail and wholesale. We accept pre-scheduled groups and field trips throughout the year. For more information about us and to find out what's ripe, please visit our website. We hope to see you soon!
