Stick-Fins Fish Farm

We have been raising Red Claw Lobster/Crawfish, Cherax quadricarinatus for 9 years now. They get to a large one pound 8 ounces in just over a two year period. They attain a size of 1/4 pound in a growing season of 9 to 12 months if water conditions and water temperatures are optimum through out that period. This is a fresh water lobster/crawfish and can be cultured in a hydroponics system or separately within a variety of production systems. Reproduction can be three times a year but twice is recommended to avoid stress on the females.

We use a flow through system in our production in conjunction with a natural filtration & recirculation system. All of our product is raised in above ground raceways, tanks and pools.
