Stone Hill Honey

We own and operate a small bee farm where we manage 100 + hives. We offer group "farm tours" of our bee farm emphasizing on history and education of the honeybee w/ seaonal hands on honey extraction, candlemaking, and working with bees. Learn about byproducts made using beeswax and honey. Taste the honey made by our bees. See how a hive is assembled. Take a hayride around our farm as you observe the nectar sources abundant for our bees. Complete your tour with a visit to our store where you receive a complimentary gift. Visit our Country Store where we will offer a variety of honey, honey products and byproducts, in addition to jams, salsas and sauces using farm fresh fruits and vegetables from our gardens. We now offer a large variety of seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables all grown right on our farm and harvested daily. Our theme for the spring and summer tours of 2012 is 'Seeding the Plant' and the fall theme is 'Pumpkin Time' as we approach Halloween. We emphasis the role our honeybees play as pollinators. Store hours: May - Oct. Wed. and Thur. 9 am till 5 pm. (at Henderson Farmers Market on Tues., Fri. and Sat.) seasonal closings: Nov. - April Friday and Saurday only 10 am till 3 pm. We offer pure unpasterized honey from our hives. We also specialize in natural fruit flavored creamed honey in a variety of flavors. For a spreadable honey that won't run when spooned on toast or fresh hot biscuits, give our creamed honey a try.
