We are a small family farm specializing in pasture raised Icelandic lamb and eggs from heritage breed chickens and ducks. Our sheep enjoy rotational pastures and woodland browse. Icelandic lamb is a mild flavor lamb that has been voted as the world's best tasting lamb. The lambs enjoy a good life that includes natural weaning. The lambs remain with their mother until fall breeding and have learned to eat a variety of pasture plants. We provide supplemental minerals and kelp.
We have a small breeding flock of 8 ewes, 2 rams and a companion wethers. The sheep and lambs are treated as family. Our children show the lambs each year for 4H. We sell the lambs in the fall at the end of the growing season.
We currently have more than 100 poultry that provide meat and eggs. We sell duck and chicken eggs locally.
We are a homeschooling family and are available daytime, evenings, or weekends.
