Hello, and welcome to Catnip Farm! I'm Ericka, kitty and doggy Momma, catnip grower and toy maker. At Catnip Farm we grow and make unique, high quality products and nice gifts for pets and people. ALL proceeds go to help rescued stray, feral and special needs animals. I grow, harvest, hand-select and process our own special catnip variety ~ Mr. Nipster Fine Organic Catnip For Real Cool Cats ~ and make a nice selection of organic catnip mice (mousies!) and other fun cat toy designs TO MAKE CATS HAPPY!!
We started our on-line mail-order store at www.CatnipFarm.com in 1998, and are honored to have been chosen by Local Harvest founder Guillermo Payet as one of the first 20 *pilot* farms to get Local Harvest's on-line catalog up and running in late 2003.
Since then, thanks to Local Harvest and people like you, our list of regulars keeps on growing. We love our customers (and their people)! A big *Thank You* to Guillermo and Local Harvest for the wonderful personal connections they create for small farmers and the people who need (and appreciate) them!
This year's catnip crop is BEAUTIFUL ~ we currently offer dried organic catnip flowers and catnip seeds as well as FRESH and dried HIGH-TEST, high quality "Mister Nipster", our very own brand ~ so you can get your Kitty Party started! It's harvest-time year-round here, and winter-grown catnip is extra potent =^..^= !!!

We grow and package fresh-dried organic herbs, heirloom fruit, vegetable & flower seeds & Wildbaby Kitty Greens cat grass seed kits. Wildgirl plant & animal theme jewelry, ceramics, mosaics, window sparklers, ornaments & wreaths are also on our farm product list now and then. Please check back with us ~ new products are added now and again. A wider variety of heirloom seeds and fresh-dried organic culinary & medicinal herbs will be available from Catnip Farm in 2012 (as soon as I have time to work on the computer and get them listed).
SHIPPING: We ship via USPS First Class or Priority Mail, our various shipping options reflect the difference in cost. Local Harvest gets 15% of your order price and 6% of your shipping cost. USPS Delivery Confirmation Tracking is included on most orders to ensure safe delivery, and my usual custom-make, pack & ship time is for most orders is max. 5-10 business days & for custom-sewn cat toys it's usually around 4 weeks.
If we mail your catnip or catnip toys order in anything but a sturdy box, there is a good chance that your kitty or kitties might tear it open before you get to it... our 'nip is irresistible to those of the feline persuasion ~ the scent is so powerful that other mail delivered with your Catnip Farm order is also at risk of being chewed up. In our case, it's not "my dog ate my homework" ~ but "my cat tore up my bills" ~ no kidding! We've learned this through years of experience sending our products through the mail... sometimes it's worth a little extra shipping cost for a nice PRIORITY BOX from Catnip Farm that will make everyone happy, guaranteed!
