Nettle Leaf and Root for Tea
Stinging Nettle ( Urtica dioica)
Nettle leaf tea is my favorite tea for allergies. I like to recommend just a simple cup of nettle tea with local honey if it is available.
This miracle herb is not only rich in vitamins and iron, but it is one of the best remedy's for anemia. Stinging nettles are great at aiding blood circulation and acting as a stimulant. Also used for hemorrhage, arthritis and eczema.
Used externally for gout, sciatica and scalp and hair problems.
Nettle Root is traditionally used for benign prostatic hyperplasia, a condition affecting a large proportion of men over the age of 40 that is often a precursor to prostate cancer.
Long term use is not recommended. Consult your doctor before using nettle root if you are taking diuretics or other drugs meant to lower blood pressure.
Morgan Botanicals stinging nettles are grown organically without the use of pesticides. We harvest our whole plant and leaves just before flowering, before carefully drying and storing.
Our loose herbs come packaged in an FDA approved resealable bags that are properly labeled.
