Bulgarian Carrot Heirloom Hot Pepper Seeds

68 days. Open polinated Heirloom from Bulgaria. Flourescent orange, carrot shaped fruits ripen early on a compact plant. The flavor is excellent - very hot and fruity. Not for the meek - About a 7 on a 1 - 10 scale for heat. Just perfect for chutneys and salsas. Grows well in the north and elsewhere. A real head turner.

Cultural Requirements:

Soil:Adaptable. Peppers need a nitrogen source like alfalfa meal and high quality compost.
Propagation / Germination:Start indoors 8 weeks before last frost. Keep soil barely moist, not wet. Wet will kill peppers. 80 degrees is optimum, but anywhere from 70 to 90 degrees will work okay.
Sun:Full sun.
Water:Water weekly if necessary.
