Black Pear Heirloom Tomato Seeds

This variety is a very abundant producer. It was one of my heaviest producing varieties this year! Strong, sturdy plants produce high yields of dark red/purple fruits that are about this size of a lemon and in the shape of a pear. (Each fruit is about 6 oz.) Unlike other so called pear varieties, this pear tomato isn't the small-fruited pear shaped fruit you would normally think about. These fruits are large and can be used as a slicing tomato. It isn't a salad tomato. The flavor is very robust and hearty making them great for gourmet dishes and vegetable platters.

78 days from transplant to harvest. Indeterminate (Although they don't grow as tall as many other indeterminate varieties)

I always add a few extra seeds in each packet in case I count wrong.

Detailed planting instructions are included with each purchase!
