Organic Sundried Tomato & Fresh Basil Chevre
This all natural mild creamy chevre is hand crafted from top quality fresh goat milk. Goats roam in the pastures grazing on native grasses, cactus blossoms and return to the barn for an organically grown snack of mountain hay. Allowing the girls to have a varied diet produces a subtle flavored farmstead cheese not normally found in grocery stores. Many of the artisan cheeses are created using local ingredients such as the Pueblo Chile, Palisades Peach, the western slopes cherry wine and locally grown herbs. Sea salt is used sparingly to permit each individual flavor of the cheese to surface.
