Culinary Lavender Buds
Culinary Lavender Buds are the youngest and sweetest lavender florets forming the lavender "flower" at the top of the stem. The benefit of using these Buds in cooking is that they can be retrieved from the dish more easily than many little flowers if you wish to remove them (maximizing flavor while leaving only a few florets behind). Care should be used not to break up the buds during cooking by rough handling.
