Cheese Making and Milk Products Class

It's fun to see how foods are made. I'll come to your home and show you how to make small samples of 3 different types of cheeses: curds and whey (cottage cheese), soft cheese, and hard cheese. We'll also talk about making yogurt and kefir.

You provide:

  • 4-5 quarts of raw or non-homogenized and low temp pasteurized milk
  • spices to flavor your soft and hard cheese
  • You will be given written instructions so you can make more cheese on your own.

    If you purchase the Cheese Class w Press you will assemble a cheese press during class and take your press and a small hard cheese mold home. If you don't purchase the class with a press I after class.

    This is a hands on class so class size is limited to 3 people per class.
