Jujube Fruit

Jujube fruit (ziziphus zizyphus) also known at the Chinese date; round to elongated cherry size to plum size with a thin edible skin, white flesh and a seed pod. The immature fruit is green then ripen to a golden brown shin when more of the natural sugars develops.

Will soften and wrinkle to be eaten dried; at the green stage, some say it taste like apple. We have a small window of time when we can ship: starts October 9, 2012. A pound consists of approx. 30 fruit.
