Hickory King Dent Corn - Organic

(Zea mays)

Extra large kernels of white corn on 8" long ears. Can be picked at the milk stage for delicious sweet corn or allowed to mature to a dry dent corn. Stalks are from 12 to 15' high. Perfect corn for making your own corn grits, hominy, polenta, corn meal, or tortillas. Typically two large ears per stalk. Corn kernels need to be nixtamalized (treated with lime) to make posole.
