Comfrey has a long history of use for healing bruises, wounds, swellings, scarring, strained ligaments or tendons, rashes and skin irritations. Do not use comfrey for deep cuts or lacerations.
A popular healing salve can be made by heating 1 part beeswax to 3 parts comfrey oil. A wonderful green-garden salve can be created by blending comfrey oil with calendula oil, plantain oil and lavender essential oil.
Please store your oils in a cool dry place or in the refrigerator and use within one year. If stored in the fridge, the oil will solidify. Bring to room temperature before using.
