Straw Hat Farm

Straw Hat Farm has been Certified Organic by the Colorado Dept. of Agriculture since 1997. After many years of selling produce and baked goods at the Montrose Farmers Market, we have now opened a store, open year-round, featuring local organic produce in season, farm-fresh eggs, local milk, cheese, honey, and grass-fed meat, cooking and baking equipment and kitchen gadgets, and bulk grains. Each Saturday, in addition to everything else, you will find a large selection of wholesome baked goods, all made with organic flours and grains. Our breads are made with freshly-ground organic wheat, and we have a variety of other treats, such as granola, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and pies. We continue to grow a wide variety of produce and a large amount of garlic for both table and seed. In 2008 we began making garlic powder and granules, using only our own garlic.
