Farming and Gardening have always been a way of life for both sides of my family, with our combined knowledge we bring over 60 years of growing experience to the field. We practice sustainability, we compost, we rotate our crops, use green manure/cover crops, we use no pesticides or chemicals on our fields, and we water with well water,from a well that is checked annually.
We also have have a flock of free range chickens and for an extra fee we will be offering eggs along with our CSA shares. Our chickens are not caged and allowed to forage naturally.
We grow a wide variety of vegetables and like to grow a couple of unique or different things,for a little added adventure. Because each growing season is different it brings with it new wonders and challenges, which of course is all part of the experience.
