Summer Creek Farm is a family run farm, located in Culpeper, Virginia. We currently run about 30 ewes and 3 rams, 4 brood cows and a bull. We raise our animals on a strict "all-vegetarian" diet, consisting of natural grasses, natural grains, and local hay. These feeds are free of growth hormones and antibiotics. We use pasture rotation for parasite control and our animals are kept out of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed as recommended by the USDA. Our meat products are USDA inspected and processed. Feeding "natural grasses" and "natural grains" promotes a tender and flavorful meat product without a "gamey" flavor associated with grass feeding alone.

Our sheep flock consists of Texel, Southdown, Suffolk, Dorset, and Corriedale crosses. The sheep are bred for high quality meat animals that are healthy and grow quickly and efficiently. Our cattle herd, though small, consists of high quality brood cows and a registered Hereford bull that thrive on mostly pasture year round.
