Our farm is dedicated to rebuilding our local economy from the ground up. We grow a wide range of vegetables and varieties that are adapted to our regional climate and cool micro-climate. We choose varieties for maximum flavor.
True to our name, Hunters' Greens, our shares our geared to lovers of salads and the healthful heavy lifters, dark leafy greens. To this we add a wide variety of familiar sweet and juicy vegetables, along with a few more exotic items.
Besides providing the freshest, tastiest vegetables money can buy, our goal is to demonstrate a simple, satisfying way of life as an alternative to the global rat race. We share our ideas on these and other subjects through weekly e-mails, and of course we throw in some of Jim's tasty recipes for those not so familiar items. We grow all our vegetables ourselves without the use of synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. We grow varieties bred for excellent flavor.
