My family has lived on our 5 acre Florida homestead, Sundew Gardens, since 1983. Our piece of land is located near the city of Oviedo and the University of Central Florida. As a way of life, I have never used chemical products on my land (we use organic methods but do not pay for 3rd party certification). Our first project was to plant and grow a garden and have since raised our children on our homegrown food. We have marketed our produce through a number of various community venues, such as farmer's markets, retail grocery stores, restaurants, and online. Our flagship operation is our membership Upick program we call "Harvest Gardening". Families harvest what they choose (not required to take a monthly pre-picked share) from our gardens in a subscription form of U-Pick. F
