These are the BIG ONES! They grow up to 10 ' tall and 24 " across here in Iowa. Look at the size of this seed head compared to the clothespin attached - a diameter not uncommon with this variety...
We've been growing and selling this special sunflower in our Local harvest store for over 5 years, it never fails to please.
These amazing sunflowers can be planted singly, as a border OR plant them in a circle or square which will grow into a great flower fort for kids (adults too!) Plant some flowering vines to climb up them and you'll have happy birds, butterflies AND children - and plenty of seeds for next year's crop. The seeds are large and edible if you get to them before the birds do ;^) !

A little slow, but not on vacation ~
I was called out of town unexpectedly to take care of my Mom's estate as her husband is selling her house, filled with her life's work, her personal and family items and her extensive collections, & we are also at the 150% level of required outdoor work at our farm here in SE Iowa, so I will make & send your order as soon as possible ~ at the same time doing all the work necessary to make sure we have all the things we need for our customers come harvest time ~
