Sunset View Farm

Sunset View Farm recently launched a new Community Supported Garden for people who want to learn how to grow their own food in a community atmosphere. There are 100 plots to be leased for the season, first come first served. This will be a working community of individuals, businesses, families, scouts, schoolchildren and seniors. "How-to" workshops will be given free to members ($10 to non-members), beginning with starting seedlings from home. The farm sells wholesale and retail naturally grown produce.

Listing last updated on Jun 3, 2013

Each plot on the property offers an incredible view of the Sussex County countryside. There are picnic areas and members are welcome to bring a bag lunch when visiting their plots. Children are welcome to feed the chickens, and all are encouraged to take a walk through the wooded eco-trail. A wonderful Harvest Celebration will be held on the property in October for members.

There's nothing like growing your own produce, that farm fresh taste no store bought tomato can compete with! Picked fresh off the plant and eaten while it's still warm from the heat of the sun....
