Sustainable Settings Ranch 6107 Highway 133, Carbondale, CO, 81623, USA, North America Brook Le Van, Director; Sustainable Settings is a working ranch that produces beyond organic fruit, vegetables, herbs, eggs, and grass fed dairy, lamb, beef, pork and holiday turkeys selling from our ranch store, CSA and at the Aspen Saturday Market. We feature heritage livestock breeds, heirloom varieties of fruits and vegetables. Sustainable Settings Ranch is also a Whole Systems Learning Center and green demonstration on 244 acres in the Rocky Mountains at 6,500 ft elevation. We research, develop and teach models of sustainable daily living. Programming includes whole-systems approaches to green development, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, art for daily life and community interdependence fostering responsible integration of human activity within natural systems.

Ranch tours are available Tuesdays 11:00. Please call ahead to book. We host visitors and pre-K to University level school groups throughout the year. Internships are offered throughout the year. Please check our website SustainableSettings.org 970-963-6107

Schedule and Location:

We sell from our ranch store that is open most days of the week year round for meat, eggs and a herd share program. From Mid June through October our beyond organic veggies are available here too.

Sustainable Settings grass fed beef, yak and chciken are the best I've ever eaten. Their fresh eggs have orange yolks, and more flavor in one egg than in a dozen from the factory farms. Way to go, Sustainable Settings!
