Sweet Betty Bees Honey and Hive

We're proud to offer you Sweet Betty Bee's honey and hive products. We are members of Certified Naturally Grown and our honey is produced in western North Carolina without pesticides or antibiotics. It is unheated and unfiltered, leaving intact its amazing nutritional composition. Minimal straining removes larger bits of beeswax and spare bee parts while allowing pollens to remain (though for purists, we have a limited quantity of really, really raw honey which may have a bit of a crunch).

As local as it gets for folks around here, our honey comes from country bees at three different apiaries near Marshall, North Carolina.

We see our apiaries as a partnership with the bees and with the whole of Mother Nature. While proximity to conventional farming methods prevents us from claiming our honey is organic (bees will forage miles from home), we practice organic principles to the greatest extent possible by finding alternatives to pesticides and antibiotics. Additionally, we do not feed corn syrup or sugar to our bees. Honey and pollen are bees' natural diet. Why give them anything else?

Our strong belief and slogan is thusly Healthier, happier bees make better honey.?¯?¿?½???©
