Sweet Leaves is a Teahouse and Restaurant specializing in local and organic foods, fairly traded teas and coffee, and handmade entrees and desserts. We work with over 40 different farmers, cheesemakers, bakers and butchers in Maine, and support our community by hosting local artists and musicians, and holding events such as tea tastings, poetry nights, and classes.

We serve a menu of salads, soups, pannini sandwiches, light appetizers, desserts, and a select menu of entrees after 5 pm.

Our chef, Josh DeGroot, is both renowned and committed to the quality of his ingredients. He makes almost everything we offer by hand, including the scones and cookies, the lemon curd and cultured butter that we serve with our scones, all our ice creams and sorbets, and a delicious chocolate goat cheese that has won him awards!

We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 am to 9 pm. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
