Our farm is an island oasis located in the urban Tampa landscape. Our 200 member CSA has small fields and tropical orchards tucked in between the wooded areas of our land. Sweetwater creek runs through our farm with a small walk bridge spanning the waterway that is home to many fish, sometimes otters and occasionally a manatee. It is a wonderful place to meet a friend for lunch, have a group meeting, help on the farm or just play in the mud. Not to mention that we grow great food from September through May. Internships available. We feature a wonderful Sunday Market/Music Series open to the public. The Sunday Market features:
-Sweetwater Produce Stand - organic produce, coffee, tea, chocolate, seedlings, compost, organic cotton T-shirts, shopping bags & more for sale!
-Eco-friendly products, garden supplies & handcrafts
-Live Music: Featured Artists & Open Mike
-Prepared foods
-Outdoor Yoga (10:30-11:30am, $5 donation)
NEW - Beginning this season (Nov 2009) we will also be selling some of our fresh produce at the St Petersburg Saturday Morning Market in downtown St Pete. CSA Members will also be able to pick up their share at the market!
