Intended for baby production, Barese grows quickly and has glossy, thick white stems and dark green leaves with slightly curled edges. Holds up well in a baby leaf mix and is an excellent addition to salads. It is also good if allowed to grow out.
Direct sow, plant 4 to 6 inches apart ½ inch below soil surface, rows should be spaced 18-24 inches apart.
