Our CSA Program offers a weekly harvest of Organically Grown Vegetables to the Lehigh Valley, Reading, and Philadelphia. We grow a variety of tasty vegetables, small berries, and herbs, and we raise eggs on pasture. The CSA shares are harvested fresh for 23 weeks, beginning in mid-spring and ending the first week in November. Members may also choose to participate in an Egg Share, Bread Share, and/or Fruit Share. The farmers at Taproot Farm keep in direct contact with the members throughout the season, through email letters and member-participation days.
We firmly believe in the principles of Sustainability and Organic Agriculture. Our rotation of vegetables, cover crops, and pasture enriches the soil to provide the Healthiest and most Delicious produce possible.
