The Tarrant County Master Gardeners would like to invite the public to visit the garden. Guided tours are available on Tuesday mornings. We offer space to plant a vegetable garden and attend educational gardening classes.

1/11/10 Update We planted our onions yesterday. Sets were bought from Marshall Grain. We put onions in 2 of the demonstration beds. Manure, compost, and bone meal were added to the beds and turned before planting. The beds had settled since they were first set up.

We also cut the potatoes to get ready to plant them on Friday. We cut the potatoes in 3 to 4 pieces from each potato. They will dry and skin over before we put them in the ground. The beds for these were prepared today. Rain is in the forecast so planting might be delayed a few days.
