Our farm is located 3.5 miles outside of Quincy IL. We have a 20 acre farm with 12 acres in production. Brad and his father Richard operate the farm. We began this adventure in 2006, with 2 acres in production and a hand tiller, and my how things have grown. Now we use tractors and implements, black plastic, greenhouse and a hoop house. We are still learning the aspects of farming and learning more about organic growing practices every year. We are not organic certified but in the long range future this is our goal. We are part of a small CSA in Quincy IL, ran by Kate Daniels. You can find more information about Great River CSA at www.greatrivercsa.org We grow a wide variety of vegetables with a mix of heirloom, open pollinated varieties and some hybrids. We also grow sweet corn. We attend the Hannibal farmers market weekly on Sat. mornings from 8:00 till noon.
