Self- taught chef, Jesse Salzwedel, adheres to a philosophy of sustainable locally produced ingredients with a seasonal menu, "Our menu is inspired by the ethnic make- up and the rich agricultural heritage of our state. Our menus are appropriate for the season and we feature local, organic and sustainable agriculture whenever feasible. Dine with us and experience that some of the best food in the world is from right in our own backyard. We are Elkhart's only lakeside restaurant. Taste of Wisconsin Dining Series: May 12 "Eat Wild" One day of each month we will be featuring a five course price fixed meal to showcase the very best of what is available that month from Wisconsin. The forests and wetlands are the earliest purveyors of produce in Wisconsin. Long before our gardens flourish natural foods are ready for dining.
