We have been raising vegetables, pork and beef for the personal use of our family for 20 plus years. Our children have left the nest and we still enjoy raising our own food. It has been hard to cut back on the amount we produce so we want to share it with our neighbors.
We garden with environmentally sensitive practices as our garden is our main food supply for the year. We appreciate good food which will nourish our bodies as well as yours.
We raise angus cross cattle and have a 5,000 square foot vegetable garden next to the house and a larger corn and pumpkin patch in the field. We grow spinach, lettuce, cabbage, carrots, chard, collards, beets, potatoes, sweet potatoes, cucumbers, bush green beans, pole green beans, onions, Golden Jubilee tomatoes, Celebrity red and Rutgers heirloom and Mr. Stripey tomatoes, yellow Crookneck and zucchini squash, butternut squash, cantaloupes, garlic, corn, and pumpkins.
We welcome you to come to our garden. Be sure to look for our access road (F288) on the right off Antioch Road very near Route 55, John Marshall Highway in Haymarket. We will be the first driveway (and only) on the left on the access road.
Our market hours are Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. Other times may be arranged by calling 703-754-7564.
You pick or we pick. Call ahead or email for availability of specific produce.
