Crooked Carrot is a Community Supported Kitchen (CSK) based at Stick and Stone Farm, part of the Full Plate Farm Collective. We are offering a variety of healthy, locally-sourced sauces, broths, dressings, dips, prepared beans, lacto-fermented veggies, and more. We combine inspiration drawn from whole, fresh ingredients with food traditions from around the world to create nourishing products that make cooking a healthy meal at home quick and easy! We are offering "shares" of our food, similar to a CSA share that compliment in-season vegetables and make it possible for our members to make quick, healthy, and flavorful meals out of their CSA vegetables.
We are lucky to be able to source almost all of our ingredients locally, from people we know. Besides some spices (e.g. black peppercorns), we are choosing our ingredients to be at least locally possible, if not currently produced locally (e.g. vinegars made from Finger Lakes wine or culinary mustard seed). Through our membership's feedback and participation, we hope to show that there is a strong market for new agricultural products and ventures in our region.
