Formerly known as The Farm At Nanticoke Creek, Epona Farm Sanctuary has been organically managed, carefully tended, and very much loved since 1999. Colleen's family maintains more than 3 acres of habitat for wildlife, extensive gardens designed for sensory exploration, and of course...a lovely horse farm with a fully fenced outdoor arena with sand footing, a climate controlled tack room and office, a large seasonal classroom and additional tack room and acres of available trails bordering the Mount St. Francis Hermitage.
The horses and farm animals that come to Epona Farm Sanctuary have interesting stories to tell. Some have had wonderful lives with loving owners, who found our farm the best place for their beloved companion to retire. Others have struggled through abuse, neglect, starvation or have special needs their former owners could not meet. Regardless of their background, they come here and spend the rest of their days surrounded by love, round the clock care, an incredible team of veterinary, farrier and alternative health care providers, and people who adore them.
Our facility is just minutes from all major expressways, yet feels like it is miles and miles away. Private, peaceful and lovely, a perfect place for you to start on a journey of self-discovery and holistic wellness.
The farm is host to the Borrowed Freedom Equine Assisted Therapies program, and also hosts several learning opportunities each year.
The O.K. Corral is coming to Endicott, NY to present its equine-assisted certification seminar to the public April 25-27, 2014. This versatile seminar covers the basics of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy/Equine Assisted Learning, with applications for everyone. Please visit our website for full details
