the girl & the fig is a wine country destination restaurant in Sonoma since 1997. Featuring local products, a unique winelist, garden patio dining and an antique bar, the girl & the fig enjoys its prime location on the Historical Sonoma plaza. In 2010, the girl & the fig started collaborating with the Benziger Family in "The Farm Project" and "Sonoma Valley Sharecropper". The chefs have been planting and harvesting almost 1 1/2 acres of land at Imagery Winery to be used in the restaurant. In return, our Sharecopper agreement is fulfilled with a line of pickled and canned items available for sale at the winery. The farm at Imagery Winery is totally organic and biodynamic.

Country food with a French passion defines the style of cuisine at the girl & the fig. The restaurant is open daily for lunch, straight through dinner and for Sunday brunch. The Rhone-Alone winelist features over 15 wines by the glass and the antique bar highlights seasonal cocktails. The cheese bar centered in the restaurant showcases special limited production cheeses from California and beyond. In 2009 and 2010, the girl & the fig was awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition.
