The Gourd Guy

The Gourd Guy (Larry and Terri Haas) has been growing gourds since 1991 and selling at the Dane County Farmer's Market for 14 years. We also sell weekly at the Middleton Market in Greenway station on Thursdays.

We grow about fifteen different varieties of gourds each year, including giant kettles, giant marten houses, giant bushels and miniature bottles. We also grow regular birdhouse types, swans, penguins, cannon balls, snakes and luffa gourds.

We are the founders of the Wisconsin Gourd Society (Terri is the President)and we sponsor and teach classes on gourd art and crafts throughout the year.

The Gourd Guy produces quality hard-shell gourds that are cleaned and ready for art; our farm is open to the public year-round. Customers are welcome to come tour the gourd gardens and check out the thousands of gourds in our barns! Please call before visiting.

We also mail gourd orders, though we encourage a farm visit to ensure the best choices.
