The Green Market at Walhill Farm in Batesville, Indiana, offers locally grown/produced vegetables, herbs, and fruits, meats and dairy products, organic grains, soaps, flowers, jams, jellies, relishes, salsas. Flowers and local crafts round out the offerings. Some weeks sampling of prepared recipes feature the seasonal produce. This market is open on Tuesday evenings from 5:00-8:00pm from June 9 through October 27, 2009. The market is open to the general public with FarmFreshCSA subscribers able to select additional items after they pick-up their weekly CSA boxes at the same site. The Laughery Valley Growers, Inc, a multi-farm agricultural cooperative, is the anchor group for this market with other vendors invited to participate.
