The Helpful Gnome is a small homesteading farm on the west end of Bloomington, Indiana. The Helpful Gnome was purchased on February 26th 2009 and named on March 5th. We focus on growing herbs, luffas, heirloom tomatoes and peppers, and saving seeds. We also raise several breeds of chickens for meat and eggs. Everything we grow is grown sustainably and organically. We compost, use rain barrels, and free range our chickens.
