The Lionheart School Gardens

The Lionheart Gardens is a year-round, diversified market garden tended by faculty, staff, and students of the Lionheart School and the surrounding community. The Gardens provide an experience-rich setting to reinforce classroom curriculum as well as an opportunity for students to grow as independent individuals.

Students participate in planning, starting seeds, cultivating the land, harvesting and marketing the fruit of their labor. The Lionheart Gardens provide tangible life skills to students and for some, an opportunity for to receive vocational training and potential job placement post-graduation.

The Lionheart Gardens produce is sold at the school as well as on the farm. We offer volunteer opportunities and classes throughout the season. Those interested please contact Katherine Kennedy, email address listed above
