The Long Siding Farm

In 1919 my Grandfather started a dairy farm near Long Siding, Minnesota. My father also farmed near Long Siding and today my wife, my children and I have obtained USDA Organic Certification for several acres of land near Long Siding.

We grow a wide variety of fruits and vegetables which we sell primarily in the Twin Cities area. Although much of our produce is sold through CSA's, we also sell to farmers markets. You can find us at the Market in The Valley farmers market in Golden Valley.

We are excited to have added a large "high tunnel" structure to our farm in the fall of 2010. Consequently our growing season is extended as well as our ability to offer produce earlier in the growing season.

Located near Minneapolis and St. Paul, The Long Siding Farm is a USDA Certified Organic producer of a variety of fruits and vegetables. We offer CSA's in several locations in the western suburbs especially. You will find us at New Hope and Golden Valley farmers markets. Restaurants and grocers are also our clients. We harvest daily for maximum freshness. A high tunnel on our farm enables us to extend our growing season, providing produce earlier in spring and later in the fall.

Joining a CSA with Longsiding Farm not only provided the freshest produce and a wide range of variety but also a great experience for my family. I loved finding ways to cook with what was "in season," and my kids became more adventurous eaters! The provider was very accomodating in getting our share to us each week. We are excited to do it again this summer.

Excellent experience! I had a nice variety of good quality produce. Provider was reliable and generous, with good advice on storage, etc. I have a family of four so I chose the half share which was plenty. Fun way to try new foods.
