Our ranch is located 2 miles southwest (behind) of Bordertown, about 18 miles north of Reno. We grow several different varieties of tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, corn, lettuce, spinach and this year we grew fabulous watermelons! We use natural gardening methods and incorporate our homegrown compost into each of our gardens. We have just invested in a six row seeder and this year will be putting in an even larger garden than ever before! This means more quantity and more selection for you. If you have any specific crops you'd like us to try, please let us know and we'd certainly consider it in our crop rotation plan. We also grow and sell orchard grass. Our historic ranch is also a perfect location for outdoor events.

Our ranch has a long history, being a dairy for nearly a century. It provided butter and cheese for local Reno restaurants and residents for years. It is now currently owned by Jim, Jan and Will Loverin, who have successfully maintained and enhanced the historic nature of the ranch. Jan is an Arborist w a degree in Biology and a certified nursery worker, Jim is the rancher himself w an M.S. in zoology and our son Will is our computer expert, keeping us breast in the 21st century!
