The Sassy Ewe currently runs two very different breeds of sheep: the rare American Karakul, which produces coarse colored wool, and the southdown which is known as a meat breed with a medium fine wool. All of my yarns are handspun by me. I do use wool from other MI fiber producers to add more variety to my inventory. I do offer some knitted products. Lambs are due late March through April. Karakul & Southdown lambs available early June for breeding stock and feeder lambs. Contact me for details if interested.
Schedule varies depending on availability of booths and my off farm work schedule. Usually try to set in Grand Rapids MI or Evart, MI on Saturdays from 8 or 9 AM to about 2 PM. Please email me for my schedule.
