The Sassy Ewe currently runs two very different breeds of sheep: the rare American Karakul, which produces coarse colored wool, and the southdown which is known as a meat breed with a medium fine wool. All of my yarns are handspun by me. I do use wool from other MI fiber producers to add more variety to my inventory. I do offer some knitted products. Lambs are due late March through April. Karakul & Southdown lambs available early June for breeding stock and feeder lambs. Contact me for details if interested.
